With 5-0 Win, Juggernauts Improve to 6-6
|
Toronto turned a good effort from starter Daniel Taylor into a win over the Philadelphia Spectres at Molson Park. The Juggernauts won the game, 5-0. The Spectres fall to 4-8 and continue their sputtering start to the 2083 season.
Hisatada Konda had a big 2-run home run for the Juggernauts in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Toronto leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a sinker from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Uno Urquidez and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Juggernauts on top, 3-0.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Taylor.
