The Chicago Phantoms dealt the Tucson Toros a 5-4 loss at Foster Field. Trevor Hutchinson was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs. Reliever Yolber Ajete picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Feng Shuai took the loss. The Toros fall to 5-7 and continue to sputter in the early going.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Hutchinson hit a fastball from Feng Shuai for a solo home run. The Phantoms, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"I was a little disappointed," said Tucson manager Rick Barnes. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
