The St. Louis Gaedels cut down the Buffalo Rangers by the score of 9-5, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Evelio Vinent. Vinent was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Gaedels. St. Louis reliever Wade West picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Hector Venni absorbed the loss.
