Harfangs Snatch Late Win
The Montreal Harfangs earned a close win over the New York Titans, thanks in part to Stuart Stephenson. The Montreal right-hander, who finished 3rd in the WC in strikeouts with 231 in 2077, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Dan Tweedy notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 2-1. Montreal is now 54-52. New York is 77-30.

Montreal needed the clutch hitting of Jon Sitterley to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Harfangs on top, 3-1. For the game, Sitterley had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"When he's dealing, Stuart is a tough customer," said Montreal manager Brendan Henry.
