Buffalo Beats Alaska in Extra Innings
|
The Buffalo Rangers picked up a win at Tundradome, knocking off the Alaska Kodiaks, 4-2, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Josh Breaux played a key role in the triumph. Chris Sousley was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. The first-place Rangers now have a win-loss record of 66-40.
Jossue Lopez had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With the bases empty, he hit a triple. It helped send Buffalo to the win.
"Josh did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.
