Chicago right fielder Jin-young Choe had a good game, even if his team did not. The Phantoms dropped a 3-2 decision to Maine at Foster Field. Choe went 1-1 with a home run and 4 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, Maine has a record of 50-56. Chicago falls to 56-50.
The Lobster got a big at-bat from second baseman Barry Kearney. For the game, Kearney went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Maine a 2-1 lead.
