The Seattle Arrows had to reckon with Minneapolis Vikings hurler Travis Sasson. Sasson overwhelmed the opposition in the 8-1 Vikings triumph. The Vikings saw their win-loss record go to 55-51. At the same time, the Arrows fell to 53-54.

Early in the game, first baseman Alex Medina had a 2-run double for Minneapolis. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Vikings on top, 2-0.

"Travis just settled in and did what he does," said Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan.
