Browns Upend Kings, 5-2
|
The Brooklyn Browns rode a solid performance from 23-year-old starting pitcher Keaton Bozek to a win, beating the Baltimore Kings, 5-2, at AT&T Park. The win makes Brooklyn 62-42.
Shortstop Luven Balaguer made an impact for Brooklyn, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Adam Simms in the top of the second. For the contest, Balaguer went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Balaguer. "The only team that can beat us is us."
