Glaciers Deal Thunderbirds 7-5 Loss
The Denver Glaciers downed the Phoenix Thunderbirds, 7-5, at Legednary Park. Chris Eighmy led the way, going 3-for-5 for Denver. Denver reliever James L'Hommedieu picked up the win, raising his record to 4-2. Sumiki Kono was tagged with the loss. Denver leads the Western Conference John Sexton Division by 3 games.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 12th, until Eighmy delivered big-time for Denver, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Alberto Aviles. The game-changing hit put the Glaciers on top, 6-4.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Eighmy. "I like it."
