Miami designated hitter Karl Cooper contributed significantly to his team's 4-3 win over the Cincinnati Twins. Cooper, who is on pace for 107 RBI this season, went 4 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cyclones. Miami pitcher Bobby Edwards got the win. He's now 7-7. Brian Burda was tagged with the loss. Brenden Jayson, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save.

Miami used a clutch at-bat from Shane Ausmus to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Cincinnati manager Ryan Stoops.

Miami is second in the Eastern Conference Max Badaloni Division with a record of 59-45.
