Aquas Topple Spectres with Late Rally
Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Craig Lightsey, who is on pace for 111 RBI this season, the Houston Aquas defeated the Philadelphia Spectres, 5-2. Nick Boodt was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Steve Jennifer. The win boosted Houston to 64-40.

Had Lightsey not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Lightsey hit a run-scoring single. The Aquas took the lead, 3-2, and never looked back.

Lightsey called the win "a pick-me-upper."
