Wolves Need Extra Innings to Top Lobster, 7-5
Richard Lahoz had a good game, but he could not keep the Portland (E) Lobster from falling, 7-5, to the Vancouver Wolves at Fox-Chong Park. The Portland (E) first baseman was 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 in the loss. Vancouver reliever Li-ben Liang was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Carlos Curiel took the loss. The Wolves saw their record improve to 45-60.

Prazeres Verdades won the game for Vancouver when homered off Carlos Curiel in the bottom of the 12th.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Verdades. "I like it."
