In a tight contest at Portland Park, the Portland Dragons edged the Las Vegas Aces by the score of 5-4. Portland first baseman Alex Guilzar, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The win went to Nate Daniels in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Carl Rodda took the loss. The Dragons, now 3-8, have not found much traction so far in 2078.

Ray Garcia was the walk-off hero for Portland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dragons right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was electric at the end," Guilzar said.
