The Chicago Phantoms got a sterling performance from pitcher Juzo Matsumoto, but the Tucson Toros still prevailed, 4-3. Matsumoto threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. With the win, Tucson lifts its record to 5-6.

Tucson used the timely hitting of Erleisi Linares to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Toros on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"There's no quit in this team," said Toros manager Rick Barnes.
