|
The first-place Denver Glaciers took on the Philadelphia Spectres in front of a spirited crowd.
Starting pitcher Tetsukazu Kaneda had a solid game. He was a big reason the Denver Glaciers throttled the Philadelphia Spectres, 5-2. Kaneda, the winner, moves to 11-4. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks.
Denver took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Walter Gravel hit a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Glaciers.
"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Kaneda.
