Rafael Salabarria, who is tied for 9th in the WC with a 9.1 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Portland (E) Lobster. The final score was 6-4, Las Vegas. Las Vegas currently is in third place in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division at 55-48.

Las Vegas took a 6-4 lead on Alex Jaurequi's 17th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Jaurequi hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Portland (E) pitcher Justin Samsel visibly frustrated.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Salabarria said.
