Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Buffalo Rangers and Portland Dragons.

The Buffalo Rangers topped the Portland Dragons, 4-3, in 13 innings at Portland Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Buffalo pitcher Josh Breaux. Buffalo reliever Jesse Siems picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Shuzo Morishita absorbed the loss. Jose de Leon earned his 2nd save in 2 chances.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Daniel de la Cruz? The 31-year old left fielder de la Cruz stroked a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 13th inning to put Buffalo up, 4-3. For the game, he was 3 for 4, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"I'll play 10 innings, I'll play 20," said Rangers manager Alex Beckman. "Whatever it takes to win the ballgame."

The first-place Rangers are 63-38.
