Morf Shines in 10-6 Phoenix Win
Billy Morf impressed in the 10-6 Phoenix win over Portland. Morf, who is tied for 5th in the WC with a .408 on-base percentage, went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Chris Isaacks picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Yahya Kanoro was tagged with the loss. The 4th-place Thunderbirds improved to 43-56.

In the top of the third inning, the Thunderbirds grabbed the lead when Min-yul Lee rapped a two-out single. Phoenix was trailing 1-0, when Lee hit a 2-run single off Yahya Kanoro to put his team in front, 2-1.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Lee said after the game.
