Ralph Pitches Senators to 10-0 Win
|
In an excellent mound performance, Les Ralph of the Washington Senators blanked the Boston Greens, 10-0, on a 3-hitter.
"I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game.
In all, the Washington hurler rang up 6 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win.
"We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Greens manager Matt Glazer. "Ralph did a good job keeping us guessing."
In 21 starts this year, Ralph has crafted a 7-8 record and a 3.86 ERA.
