Late Offense Lifts Tucson to 6-3 Victory
The Tucson Toros handed the Denver Glaciers a 6-3 defeat at Mountain Dew Park. Third Baseman Martyn Gheldere starred for Tucson. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. John Huberty, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 0. Edwin Castaneda locked down his 3rd save.
