Greens Lose 2-1 Decision to Baltimore

The Kings faced a stiff challenge from Boston pitcher Steve McFarlen, but persevered to claim a win at Arrington Park. The final score was 2-1. McFarlen went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Mark Sanderson, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-3. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. At 44-53, the Kings are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference Rex Rawnsley Division.
Zero Skouzas, who finished 3rd in the EC in hits with 178 in 2077, had a direct impact on the outcome. Skouzas contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Baltimore up, 2-1.
