The Buffalo Rangers used the hitting of center fielder Al Lindberg to subdue the Maine Lobster, 6-1. For the game, Lindberg went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Yukichi Jimbo claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 2-0. Picking up his 4th save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Lupe Sandoval.

In the top of the sixth, Buffalo left fielder Matty Hrinko had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Hrinko stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 2-0, Buffalo. For the game, he went 1 for 2 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.

The Rangers, now 8-2, have had a terrific start to the season.
