The home crowd had a good time watching the Tucson Toros and San Diego Destroyers get after it.

The San Diego Destroyers beat the Tucson Toros, 7-3. San Diego pitcher and Barlby, England, native Trevor Laverick led the way. The winning pitcher was Laverick, now 7-6. He tossed 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 3. Earl Tessier, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save.
