Nonaka had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Justin Samsel, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Spectres a 4-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Nonaka.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Kansas City manager Joe Monagle. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
