With 3-1 Win, Browns Go to 54-42
|
Brooklyn got a strong outing from Max Badaloni as the Browns defeated the Baltimore Kings, 3-1, at Brown Town. Badaloni picked up the win for Brooklyn, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 7-12. Julio Olivo collected his 14th save.
Early in the game, first baseman Eddie Kelly had a 3-run home run for Brooklyn. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Browns on top, 3-0.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter. "Obviously."
The Kings, now 45-53, have lost 4 in a row.
