The Chicago Phantoms stymied the Buffalo Rangers, 4-2, at Foster Field. Alberto Guardiola had a good day at the plate. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Chicago. Chicago pitcher Simone Banatoni got the win. He's now 2-1. Matt Kloser was tagged with the loss. The win puts Chicago at 53-42 this season.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Guardiola hit a fastball from Matt Kloser for a 2-run home run. The Phantoms, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Chicago manager Sam J was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
