Orta Leads New York to 3-1 Win
|
Pavel Orta brought his A-game to help New York defeat the Santiago Avispas, 3-1. The Titans saw their win-loss record go to 69-26. At the same time, the Avispas fell to 33-62.
Orta, who was born in Bejucal, Cuba, delivered a quality start for New York. The 6-foot-9 right-hander allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.
"I just try to put up zeroes," said Orta, "and let the rest take care of itself."
