Arrows Suffer 12-3 Home Loss
|
At Power Ballpark, the Seattle Arrows and Buffalo Rangers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Buffalo pitcher Mike O'Keefe had a large part in his team beating the Seattle Arrows, 12-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. O'Keefe yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 10-3.
Josh Beauchesne had a big bases-clearing double for the Rangers in the top of the first inning. With Buffalo leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Sean Castillo and swatted a double to right. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rangers ahead, 4-0.
"The offense, man, just relentless at-bats," said winning manager Alex Beckman.
The last-place Arrows now sit at 43-51.
