Dore Delivers 7-0 Win
|
The Philadelphia Spectres downed the Portland Dragons, 7-0, at Portland Park. Starring for Philadelphia was pitcher Savino Dore. With the win, Philadelphia upped its record to 51-42.
Dore, who dominated for Philadelphia, earned the victory to move to 3-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5. Portland batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Savino was dictating to their hitters," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff.
