Friars Tag Metropolitanos with 5-2 Loss
|
The 5-2 San Francisco win over Havana was due largely to Leonilde Tigre. The Friars left fielder was 2-2 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. San Francisco, at 55-39, occupies second place in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division.
Early in the game, Tigre had a 2-run double for San Francisco. It was his 25th double of the season and put the Friars on top, 2-0.
"Glad to get this win," said Tigre. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
