The Vancouver Wolves defeated the Portland (E) Lobster, 6-5, in Western Conference action at Fox-Chong Park. Vancouver pitcher Raul Garibaldi had a standout performance. The Wolves, at 44-50, sit in 4th place in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Vancouver. That's when Allen Blagburn, who finished 2nd in the WC in hits with 188 in 2071, hit a solo home run off Kanei Muraoka to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"The crowd was boisterous today," said Garibaldi.
