The Vancouver Wolves beat the Havana Metropolitanos, 4-1, at Fox-Chong Park. Starting pitcher Juan Pinon was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Vancouver has now won 4 games in a row.

Cedric Leal hit a 2-run home run off Bobby Jaramillo in the bottom of the third, which put the Wolves ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Leal had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Juan was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen.
