The Miami Cyclones captured an easy win, 12-1, over the Washington Senators at The ESPN Zone. Bobby Aguinaga led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-4 for Miami. Dakota Terrones, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-0. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 6 and walking 3. At 58-34, Miami is in first place in the Eastern Conference Antonio Detorres Division.
In the first inning, Aguinaga had a run-scoring double for Miami. It was his 23rd double of the season and put the Cyclones on top, 1-0.
"Not the preferred outcome," Washington manager Josh Cooan said, when asked afterward about the game.
