Cruz Ponce, who is tied for 2nd in the WC in wins with 10, imposed his will on the Vikings from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the right-hander spearheaded the 5-1 San Francisco triumph. The losses continue to mount for Minneapolis, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
