Wolves Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rangers
The Vancouver Wolves outlasted the Buffalo Rangers, 7-3, in 10 innings. Koson Kitano provided some punch at the plate for Vancouver. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Buffalo has now lost 4 in a row.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Kitano hit a fastball from Joe Mellott for a grand slam home run. The Wolves, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.
