Extra-Inning Win by Titans Over Cyclones
The New York Titans outlasted the Miami Cyclones in an extra-inning thriller.

The New York Titans picked up a win at Polo Grounds II, dropping the Miami Cyclones, 5-4, in 10 innings. Al Garay, who leads the EC in quality starts with 15, was the difference-maker. The win puts the Titans at 64-28, while the Cyclones drop to 52-39.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With New York trailing 4-3, Carlos Guadamuz hit a fastball from Sergej van Anrooij to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Titans had a walk-off win.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
