The Las Vegas Aces and Portland Dragons provided some drama for the home crowd.

Portland rode a decent outing from starter Stuart Stephenson to victory over the Las Vegas Aces. The final score was 4-3. Portland, at 54-36, is 8½ games up in the Western Conference Paul Richardson Division.

Portland took a 4-3 lead on Gerald Gaghiardi's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Las Vegas pitcher Eliecer Cervantes in the bottom of the eighth.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter.
