Lobster 3-2 Winners Versus San Francisco
|
Marco Buenrostro, who finished 5th in the EC in wins with 16 in 2073, had a strong outing for the Portland (E) Lobster against the San Francisco Friars at Staples Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Buenrostro picked up the win for Portland (E), going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-1. Kevin D'Addio earned the save, his 5th.
Jason Paradis had a direct impact on the outcome. Paradis contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Portland (E) up, 3-2.
"All in all, I thought Marco pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Portland (E) manager Matthew McExpos.
The last-place Lobster lifted their record to 38-53.
