The Minneapolis Vikings used a great performance from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Hector Moreno to beat the Las Vegas Aces, 2-0, at Western Coliseum. Antonio Melgar earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. Minneapolis is now 6-4.

Minneapolis used a timely hit from Salvador Aguilera to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Vikings ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It wasn't easy, but we got it done," said Aguilera.
