Vikings Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
The Minneapolis Vikings did just enough to secure a victory over the Portland Dragons, 4-3, in 10 innings at Minneapolis Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Joseph Stark. Minneapolis reliever Zee-loo Kim was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Alberto Rosario took the loss. The win elevated the Vikings to 53-37.

The Vikings got a clutch hit from left fielder Bobby Aguinaga. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Vikings.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter. "But we decided not to take it."
