The exploits of pitcher Lyalya Markosiants, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2077, helped the San Francisco Friars defeat the Buffalo Rangers, 4-2. Markosiants threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. Roger Calzada, credited with the save, is now 16 for 18 in save opportunities. San Francisco now owns a record of 44-47.

The Friars got a big at-bat from left fielder Leonilde Tigre. For the game, Tigre was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 20th home run of the season gave San Francisco a 2-1 lead.
