Glaciers Suffer 8-3 Road Loss
The Kansas City Athletics knocked off the Denver Glaciers, 8-3, in Western Conference action at Ballpark of Missouri. Kansas City pitcher and Nashville, Tennessee, native Keaton Bozek had an outstanding performance. Bozek got the win, improving to 7-3. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. The Kansas City win streak is now 3 games.

Kien Sa had a big 2-run double for the Athletics in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Kansas City leading 3-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Raul Garibaldi, who finished 4th in the WC in strikeouts with 211 in 2079, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 26th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Athletics ahead, 5-1.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Bozek.
