At Arrington Park, the New York Titans and Boston Greens were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Boston Greens overcame a pretty good performance by New York left fielder Zahi Cobo, beating the Titans, 5-2, at Arrington Park. Cobo went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Evan Umagas claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record stands at 2-3.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Junpei Fujiwara came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing New York pitcher Luis Erazo, he hit a 2-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Boston on top, 3-2.

Boston manager Matt Glazer said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

The last-place Greens are now 38-50, the Titans 62-28.
