The Havana Metropolitanos overcame a good performance by Las Vegas left fielder Sardis Abrego to knock off Las Vegas, 5-4, in 13 innings at Estadio Latinoamericano. Abrego was 3 for 5 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Havana is now 54-35.

The Metropolitanos got a clutch hit from third baseman Jordan Vasquez. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Metropolitanos.

"This game showed the grit and grind of our guys," said Vasquez.
