Boston turned a good performance from starting pitcher Cookie Klinker into a 5-2 triumph over the St. Louis Gaedels at Arrington Park. The 'W' lifts Boston's record to 35-51.
Richard Allemand helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Greens.
"I know we have our doubters," said St. Louis manager Mak Dolnick. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
