Great Effort by Juggernauts LF Salmon Not Enough in 9-6 Loss
The Buffalo Rangers withstood a fine game by Toronto left fielder Matt Salmon at Bison Stadium, to upend the Juggernauts, 9-6. Salmon was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Mike Brack was credited with the save for Buffalo, his 1st of the season. The Rangers, now 6-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Buffalo went up, 9-6, on Bejo Ananas's 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Ananas hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Toronto pitcher Julio Soto feeling deflated.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Buffalo skipper Alex Beckman.
