Boston Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
It took 11 innings, but the Boston Greens were able to beat the Cincinnati Twins, 7-6, at Arrington Park. Travis Glazebrook provided some offensive muscle for Boston. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The Greens are now 39-45.
Boston got a knockout punch from Nelson Garcia. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Garcia.
