Stephenson Impressive in 3-1 Baltimore Triumph
|
The Baltimore Kings picked up a win at Brown Town, courtesy of Stuart Stephenson. The right-hander helped his team stop the Brooklyn Browns, 3-1. Rocco Porcaro closed out the game, earning his 3rd save. The win elevated the Kings to 43-42.
Stephenson, who dominated for Baltimore, earned the victory to move to 6-9. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 6. Brooklyn batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Stuart kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said Kings manager Brad Carpenter.
