Houston and Philadelphia duked it out and the Aquas came out victorious.

Houston starter Slider Brooks pitched well against the Philadelphia Spectres at Sony Field at Philadelphia. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3, in 11 innings. Their 52-32 record puts the Aquas first in the Western Conference Felipe Solorzo Division.

Brooks was in the zone all game. He frustrated Philadelphia hitters while giving the Aquas 7 innings of quality work. Brooks threw 92 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 9 punchouts.
