The Havana Metropolitanos defeated the San Francisco Friars, 7-5. Left Fielder Edward Black deserved a large share of the credit. Black was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for the Metropolitanos. Havana bumps their record to 51-32 with the win.

Pete Silver had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Metropolitanos. Coming up with the bases loaded and Havana trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single.
