Washington Offense Jammed Up by Harfangs
|
Washington had no answer for 11-year veteran Felipe Sanabria. The Montreal Harfangs starter stymied Senators hitters, helping the Harfangs cruise to victory, 6-1. The winning pitcher was Sanabria, now 4-4. He tossed 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 4. The Harfangs improved their record to 48-37 with the win over Washington.
Sebastian Bush had a big 2-run home run for the Harfangs in the bottom of the third inning. With Montreal leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a changeup from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Hawk Hartshorn and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Harfangs on top, 3-0.
Said losing manager Josh Cooan: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
